Due to technical changes made on 15 April 2016, it may be the case that your smartphone or tablet no longer connects automatically when you are in the vicinity of an available Wi-Free network. This only affects devices with the iOS operating system, e.g. iPhone or iPad.
Here’s what you can do:
1. Search for a Wi-Free homespot (note: it must not be your own at home)
2. Manually select the “UPC Wi-Free” network
3. Accept the certificate displayed once
Your smartphone or tablet will connect automatically from now on every time a Wi-Free signal is available.
