I am supposed to have 1024 Mbps download speed. But I only get 200 Mbps max. Can you imagine any reasons for so low speed?
The building is new, all the instalation is fine.
localhost7 Since you have your modem in bridge mode, we can’t measure your line. Please set your modem back to router mode. After that, please perform 3 measurements via CNLAB according to these instructions and report back here with the CNLAB UID.
Quick update: I now have the router in bridge mode and I use my own router. The speed I can get is 400 Mbps average. Still missing 600 Mbps
Ok, I had to fully reset the router to get back to normal router function and now it works fine to full speed.
However, it is intereseting the spikes it does every 8 seconds.
localhost7 Do you use security software like antivirus / firewall on the computer that does the tests? If so what kind(s) do you have?
I have Avast, free version.
I also have NordVPN, but it was disconnected at the time of test.
localhost7 If you now uninstall Avast as a test (do not deactivate), the spikes should be gone. You are welcome to test it.
I did several tests just with the Avast deactivated and it’s much more stable.
I will now switch back to bridge mode.
Thanks for your help Daniele 😉
