Community Manager

On 18 September, the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga will start their 2020/2021 championships. In cooperation with Sky, in the current season MySports is again broadcasting a total of 572 matches from the two top German divisions live – including pre-match reports, analyses and the original Sky multi-game broadcast. And as a rule, three matches per round will now be broadcast in ultra HD.

A multitude of football fans in Switzerland are already eagerly anticipating the start of the new season. MySports, together with its cooperation partner Sky, ensures that fans in our country never miss a goal.

Total of 572 matches from the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga with Sky

If you want the full range of the Bundesliga, MySports Pro offers in cooperation with Sky 266 Bundesliga matches and all 306 matches of the 2nd Bundesliga (572 live matches in total). The MySports Pro offer also includes all editorial services produced by Sky in connection with the games as well as the original Sky multi-game broadcast. A new feature is that more games will be broadcast by Sky in ultra HD – generally two Bundesliga matches on Saturday and a 2nd Bundesliga match on Monday. The MySports Pro package can be booked either as a monthly subscription for CHF 25 or as a day pass for CHF 9.

Less than two weeks after football it’s already time for ice hockey
For Matthias Krieb, who is responsible for MySports at UPC, the Bundesliga start is just the kick-off for additional sporting highlights soon to come: “Like most sports fans, I too have hardly been able to wait for the big team sports to get going again. After the Bundesliga start this coming weekend, it’s less than two weeks until the fourth hockey season in our broadcasting history will begin on 1 October. MySports is the only channel that shows all National League matches live. The entire MySports team is extremely eagerly awaiting this new beginning and thanks its many loyal subscribers for their patience and support over the last months.”

Season start of the Bundesliga with Borussian derby
With the match between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, 19 September 2020 at 6.30 pm live with Sky on MySports One), eight of the currently 18 Swiss Bundesliga pros could put in an appearance: Manuel Akanji, Roman Bürki and Marwin Hitz are playing for Lucien Favres BVB as they did last year, while Yann Sommer, Nico Elvedi, Breel Embolo, Michael Lang and Denis Zakaria wear the colours of the Mönchengladbachner Fohlen.

On the French-speaking channel of MySports One, the game is also commented on in the second national language.
