Connect Box Modem Mode Admin Panel Access

I have set my connect box in "modem mode" to try another wireless router in a better location.

However, now the connect box doesn't have an ip address (192.168.1.1) to be able to access the admin panel

How can I access the admin panel to turn back on router mode?

Merci in advance!

Re: Connect Box Modem Mode Admin Panel Access

Thanks for the suggestion but in the end I already did a factory reset which put it back in router mode & disabled the Wi-Fi manually.

Modem mode seems to behave strangely with regards to the Ethernet ports.
I excepted only one per to bridge the internet connection but it seems all of them do at the same time.

In the end, the connect box as a non-WiFi router and two Wi-Fi access points on subdomains seems to work fine for me anyway.

Re: Connect Box Modem Mode Admin Panel Access

Sorry I only just saw your message.
On the back of the connect box there is a "reset" hole.
Take a pin, small pencil & push it in until you hear a "click", hold it for a few seconds until all the lights on the front turn red.
The connect box will factory reset & go back to the standard "router" mode.
