I cannot private message or message at all on your website, because the website just shows me a Private Message title.

I would like to enable ipv4 and port forwarding on my Connect Box.

How can i do that or who can do it?

Hi Daniele,
I'm currently switching from Sunrise to UPC. After receiving the modem yesterday I have been trying to migrate the Synology DDNS access to the UPC device. For the DDNS service to work, port 53 needs to be forwarded. First of all, the Giga Connect Box refuses to forward this port and furthermore does the connect box seem to be in IPv6 mode. Forwarding port 53 is something that can be done with pretty much every other operator. Therefore I kindly ask you to provide the necessary steps and , if required, make the neccessary configurations to allow for forwarding of port 53.

@fabianknutti , Welcome to the Community!

 

We have made the changeover to IPv4, which will be completed in 30 minutes. Restart your modem afterwards. If you have problems, reset your modem. Press the reset button on the back of the modem with a pointed object for at least 25 seconds.

 

Then try again.

@mike711 , Avez-vous effectué un test de vitesse selon ces instructions au CNLAB ? Sinon, faites-le une fois et contactez notre support (0800 66 88 66) avec l'UID du CNLAB.

 

En ce qui concerne l'IPv4, votre modem est déjà passé à l'IPv4.
