You have only sent 4 messages? I have telephoned 7 times and each time spoken to someone who barely speaks French and of course no English and who is thoroughly unhelpful. I have moved address and wanted to take my cablecom service with me. Lots of conflicting messages, lots of promises, different charges quoted for a plug, different dates when work will be carried out but all these promises came to nothing. Every time I ask to speak to a supervisor. No supervisor is ever available but always there is a promise that someone will contact me "within 24 to 48 hours". I have never been contacted. I have written 3 times through the on-line messaging service. No one has ever contacted me. I have written a lettre recommandé (recorded delivery) letter to their head office and still no one contacts me. I have been looking to see if there is an actual physical office where I can go to so I can find a human being who speaks French or English, but it seems they are in Zurich and this is too far for me to travel. If anyone knows of anyone sensible at Cablecom who has a direct line who can be contacted I should be most grateful to know. Cablecom has the worst Customer Service ever and they do not seem to care.
Following my tweet someone from Cablecom actually contacted me. Hurray! But having promised to come back to me with a date for the installation of the plug, there has been silence. You cannot reach anyone at Cablecom because when customer service actually answers they will not put you in touch with the person so I am again back at square 1. Why is the service so poor? Does anyone at Cablecom care? What would it cost to answer calls promptly and follow up on them? It is now almost 2 months since I moved home and still no Cablecom. I would imagine there must be companies with a worse customer service but I have never heard of one.
