Issues changing DNS for TC7200U

Hi all, hoping someone can help.

I am trying to change the DNS settings on my Technicolor TC7200.U

I keep receiving an error message that says:

"Error converting one or more entries:
DNS Server1 is invalid"

The DNS fields where i am filling in the information are: IPv6 DNS Server1; IPv6 DNS Server2

Is the only solution to ask Cablecom to switch me to IPv4?

As an alternative, i have a wireless router that i could use to change the DNS, but i would need to change my modem to bridge mode, which is an option that is unavailable on my Technicolor TC7200.U. Reading here, i thought the TC7200 supported bridge mode, but it's missing from my interface options.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @miso88,  welcome to the community.

The Technicolor TC7200U is able to work in bridge mode. However, you have to switch from IPv6 to IPv4. Then, the option will appear on your interface settings.
