Your home network has a few problems

I started to use Giga Box since few days. I had some drop down then and there on wifi. When I checked Network Diagonised Tool under 192.168.0.1 a message appeared as "Your home network has a few problems"

Any solution please.

Re: Your home network has a few problems

@senthil228 , Welcome to the community!

Do you have the interruptions even if you have not connected the Powerline Boosters and you are not too far away from the modem?

Re: Your home network has a few problems

Hi, indeed there is one room in which the signal is poor, therefore, I connected a booster and the signal is strength. However, as I mentioned the wifi signal is not full on some devices.

Re: Your home network has a few problems

@senthil228 ,  As soon as you step one meter away from the WIFI, the performance decreases. The exact formula, how many meters gives which loss, can be found at Wikipedia.

You only have a full bar when you are near the modem.

Re: Your home network has a few problems

All computers and iphone and other devices within the range of Modem has full strength. However, only one PC has always low. This PC is also located close to the Modem. Wondering if a reset will help to overcome the problem or try to disconnected booster and check.

Re: Your home network has a few problems

@senthil228 ,Please reactivate the Auto Channel Mode in 2.4 GHz WIFI. Then try a reset. I also recommend to connect your computer via LAN.

Re: Your home network has a few problems

Both wifi channels 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz are active. As you suggest, let me do the reset and see how it goes.

Thanks.

Performed as you suggested. However, I still see the message as per subject when launching network diagnostic tool.
