After a year of great internet service the past few weeks my internet connection has been selectively not working. For example I might be able to log on www.google.com but at the same time www.youtube.com would be totally unreachable. Other times it just drops completely.

This occurs across multiple platforms (android, linux, windows)
It is unfortunate that this happened in the end of my year contract. since I work from home these kind of issues affect my productivity and can deter me from renewing.

This is the error my browser gives: Error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
I tried flushdns and restarting the dns services however that doesn´t always work and if it does, it´s only for a short amount of time.
