On the 6th and 8th December 2016, we will roll-out a software update on all HD Mediabox receivers (Pace HD Receiver DCR 7111). The software will automatically be updated and will improve following functionalities:
More stable Replay (no loss of signal nomore)
Proper display of subtitles on France 3 channel
Stable display of digital subtitles (DVB subtitles) on all HD channels
The HD Mediabox will automatically restart after the software has been updated. So there is nothing to do for you.
I am not sure that our problem is connected to this upgrade but we can not reach the UPC support by phone (all supporters are always busy) and we have submitted the description of our case through the contact formular at the UPC site but did not receive a reaction.
We have since 2011 a Cisco HD Recorder DVB 8685 which did not function since exactly morning of December 7.
The sympthoms are the following - when switched on the recorder displays repeatedly:
