I have been trying to get wi/free service activated, I choose the top line package from UPC only to get this feature, appparently, the customer service is NEVER REACHABLE not sure if they are all on vacation as always or someone is cutting corners.
My online account shows wi/free being activated for last 1 week and I cannot connect at all to this service, it always comes backing saying unknown username or password. I have reset the password atleast 10 times from the myupc app and still the same song remains. This is my last attempt before I try to get rid of UPC.
Wi-Free doesn't work when trying to log in to your own router. That's definitely the case when the router is a Horizon box but it could also be the same if you use the Connect Box. So if you're at home and want to test it out, turn your router/modem off to make sure it sees a neighbour's.
